Connie Marie Putnam

The lovely spirit of Connie Marie Putnam was released from this world on March 19, 2026. Connie was encircled by the love and gratitude of her family as she peacefully and faithfully entered the next world. Connie Marie Putnam began her earthly sojourn on September 21, 1947 in Lynwood California as the daughter of La Verne and Mildred Evans. She was the oldest of four children and the only girl with her brothers Paul, David and Mark. She grew up in Fullerton, California. Connie left a beautiful musical heritage. When she attended BYU, she was part of the Department Bureau which was the predecessor of Young Ambassadors. She shared her lovely singing ability as she traveled all over to perform. Her talent will be a welcomed addition to the heavenly choirs. Connie married Paul Ellis Putnam September 2, 1971. They loved each other immediately and continued to adore each other always. Connie was in great anticipation of her joyous reunion with Paul and other loved ones who preceded her in leaving the earth. The Putnams were blessed with four children: Jeffrey Putnam (Shannon) , Kristi Prior (Swen), Alison Lee (Jon) and Jill Lyman (Courtney). They reared their family in Frazier Park, California. Paul and Connie are fortunate to have thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with one more arriving in June. When her beloved Paul passed away seventeen years ago, she made her life as a widow one of service in St George. She spent those years radiating her love for the Savior by living in service to her family, friends and the Lord. Connie was a devoted volunteer to the work of the genealogical center. She also found great joy in her many years of temple service. Connie was and will forever be a faithful, selfless and kind wife, mother and grandmother. Her gentle disposition earned her the love and admiration of all who know her. Now her loved ones will seek to emulate her example and legacy to be worthy to live with her eternally. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sunset 2nd Ward, 820 North Valley View Drive, St. George, Utah. A graveside service will follow on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 North Sierra Highway, Newhall, California. The family gratefully acknowledges the many expressions of love, kindness, and support extended to them during this time.
