David Lee Dalton Morgan

David Lee Dalton Morgan passed away Monday July 14, 2025, at the age of 62 in St. George, Utah with his father Robert Morgan and sister Melody Mitchell at his bedside. David was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 7, 1962, to Karrolyn M. Dalton Morgan and Robert Lee Morgan. He is the oldest of five children. David was a father to two daughters, Andrea and McKenna and we know he loved them deeply. That love showed up in his own way, sometimes imperfectly-but it was there. He was happy to return to Parowan after many years away as he had many wonderful childhood memories growing up there spending time in the mountains and fishing with his Dalton grandparents and cousins. He had a special heart for injured animals. We remember him taking in abandoned or hurt birds-especially hawks. He cared for them gently, feeding them by hand and giving them a second chance. David loved to build things and worked in construction for many years. If you knew him, you knew he was physically strong and very handsome. Beyond his physical strength, he carried a lot on his shoulders through life. He had many heartbreaks, losses and struggles in his 62 years. Our last conversation centered around faith and family being sealed together forever in the LDS temple. He spent his early years living in Parowan and went to Parowan High School. He married his high school sweetheart Michelle Richardson. After a divorce he met and married Diana Herrera. They had a beautiful daughter, Andrea. After that marriage ended, he married again and had another daughter, McKenna Rose. He is survived by daughter McKenna Rose Morgan, Father Robert Lee Morgan, siblings: Melody Morgan Mitchell (Joe) Robert Al Morgan (Mia)and Lisa Michelle Morgan Davis (Robert). David was preceded in death by daughter Andrea Morgan, Mother Kay Dalton Morgan, brother Stanley Dalton Morgan, Dalton, Morgan and Chamberlain grandparents. We will always remember David and look forward to a joyous family reunion in Heaven. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors & donor services at St. George Regional Hospital, who compassionately treated David after his accident and tirelessly cared for him during his last days on earth.
