ROGER KITZMAN September 4,1939 - January 29, 2025 It is with great sadness that the family of Roger E N Kitzman shares news of his passing on January 29th, 2025 in St George following a brief illness due to pneumonia and heart failure. Roger, age 85, was born in Rochester, NY to Olinda and Carl Kitzman who, in addition to brother, Q Carl, precede him in death. He is survived by his wife, Alicia; son, Gregory and wife, Vafa, of Astoria, NY; son, Jonathan from Las Vegas and his son, Matthew of Salt Lake; brother, Dennis of Rochester, NY and many loving family members and friends. Roger was a 1961graduate of Hobart College in Geneva, NY and enjoyed a thirty-six year career in sales and sales management with the Reynolds and Reynolds Company of Dayton, Ohio, a supplier of business forms and computer systems primarily to automobile dealers. He and Alicia, whom he met in college and married in May of 1962 in North Adams, MA, spent their retirement years living in Santa Fe, NM and St. George, UT. Their great joys are times shared with family and traveling. Roger played and loved all things ‘sports’ and took much pride in watching grandson, Matt, play basketball. Both Roger and Alicia have been blessed and are grateful, particularly during recent months, for the love and support of family, special friends, and caregivers involved with Roger’s ongoing medical issues and during his last illness at the St. George Regional Hospital. A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 611 N 2450 E, St. George, UT, on Saturday, April 5th at 11 am MDT. The service will be streamed live on the church’s website (gspcsg.org - go to ‘Resources’ and select ‘Services Online’).
