December 12, 1925 - October 7, 2020
Anna May Scott Redfearn, 94, peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father and her husband on October 7, 2020 in St. George, Utah. Anne was born on December 12, 1925 in Los Angeles, California to George Harold Scott and Lydia Velma Norton. She grew up in Los Angeles and at the tender age of 17, she met the love of her life, Robert Milton Redfearn, a handsome, strong navy sailor! They fell in love and were married May 8, 1943. Bob was soon deployed during World War II during which time Ann gave birth to their first son, Robert Michael, on November 23, 1944. Sixteen months later, Bob returned home after the end of the war and met his son for the very first time. Their second son, John Milton, was born on August 31, 1946, and Dan Edward was born on September 19, 1951. Ann was a great cook, homemaker, and mother. She enjoyed hosting many fun-filled gatherings. She possessed a contagious laugh and sense of humor. You could never visit her without being fed! In 1976 she learned to oil paint which she did for may years. Her beautiful landscapes and florals adorn her walls, her family's walls, and her friend's walls. She and Bob were world travelers, collecting many souvenirs, and especially loved travelling through Europe. Ann was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after her husband joined in 1955. They were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on April 23, 1956. She served in many callings including Relief Society President in Forest Hills, California. In the early 90's Bob retired and they moved to St. George, Utah where they made many new friends. Bob preceded her in death on April 3, 2013 at the age of 92. She is survived by her three sons: Bob Redfearn, John Redfearn (Janice), Dan Redfearn (Sharon); 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Viewing will be held on October 15, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. at the Serenity Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Tonaquint Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. that same day.
