Cheryl Ann Cordon Blodgett At the age of 76, Cheryl Ann Cordon Blodgett passed away peacefully surrounded by many loved ones in her home in Cedar City, Utah on March 20, 2022. Cheryl was born November 3, 1945, to Bill and Maxine Cordon. She had a wonderful childhood with a family who loved each other. She had an older brother and two older sisters. Her childhood was spent in Denver, Colorado, Chicago, Illinois, and Logan, Utah. She graduated in Elementary Education from USU where she met and married Terry Blodgett on September 12, 1967, in the Logan, UT Temple. Family was always the most important thing in her life. She was a full-time mother and housewife for over 18 years, worked for the school district for 20 years, and spent over 39 years serving in the church primary organization. She also had a great love of travel. She was blessed to travel all over the United States, Europe, and Australia multiple times. In 2011 she and Terry served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Alpine German Speaking Mission. Cheryl influenced many, was loved by all, and will be dearly missed. Cheryl is survived by her husband Terry Blodgett; son David Blodgett (Lisa), daughter Lori Brooksby (Scott), daughter Sheri Pugh (Kelly), son Brent Blodgett (Chantelle), son Craig Blodgett (Diana); sister Patricia Hales; 28 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild with two more on the way. Cheryl and Terry have enjoyed living in Cedar City for 49 years. The family would like to thank all the wonderful people of the community who have loved and cared for Cheryl. They would also like to thank all the medical personnel who took excellent care of her, and all the extended love, prayers, meals, and support. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at the LDS Chapel, 1925 W. 320 S. Cedar City, Utah.
