Dale B. Olsen passed away on March 30, 2022. Dale was born November 29, 1926; He was 95 years old. He passed away in St. George, Utah where he and his wife, Carol have enjoyed for 18 years. Dale was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harvey Martin Olsen and Ann Groom of Salt Lake City. He enjoyed being the baby of a wonderful group of sisters and one brother, Dene. Dale and Dene called each other “Brother;” they even crossed passed with each other miraculously during WWII. Dale married Carol Faye Olsen, born August 2, 1929, on November 14, 1948. Together they had 4 daughters, Sandi Olsen Jonson (deceased), Michelle Kim Tushnet, Toni Nanette Menard and Jami Gina Olsen. Dale is blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Dale has an amazing military history, enlisting in the army at 17 in WWII working through the ranks to a Colonel in the National Guard. He was an avid skier, a passion that was sidelined when he broke his leg. Dale was a natural athlete and soon proved it in the sport of golf. He achieved 4 hole-in-ones. Dale B Olsen had vision. He worked in the automobile business, starting in sales, working so hard to obtain his own dealership. He finally did it in Santa Barbara, CA and we all loved living there. The family would like to thank Dr. Gus Pendleton, Ryan Whitaker, audiologist, Serenity Funeral Home of Southern Utah, and Suntree Hospice. Services will be held on May 12, 2022, at Stonebridge Ward Chapel, 82 N Dixie Dr., St George, Utah 84770 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside military honors and burial directly following the service at Tonaquint Cemetery 1777 S.
