Gelene B. Pipkin Black of Colorado City AZ was born March 26, 1977 in Cedar City UT to Donald Ray Pipkin and CoyLin Bistline Pipkin. She passed away on October 21, 2020 in St. George UT from health complications. Gelene Pipkin was married to Tony McCrae Black December 2, 1999. They were blessed with two sons. She was raised in Salt Lake City UT for five years, moved to Enoch City UT for six years and later moved to Colorado City AZ. Gelene graduated CCUSD and went on to opatian her medical assistant degree. She helped deliver over fifty babies including her nieces and nephews. Gelene found her passion in cooking and sharing those skills with friends and family. She was the one we could all go to for childhood memories and stories, a shoulder to cry on and an amazing confidante. Her boys were her pride and joy. She was always up for taking them camping, fishing and all kinds of adventures. Gelene loved to sing, laugh and to be around family. She had a very strong belief in God and prayer. Gelene is survived by her sons, Jett Aser Black and McCrae Samuel Black, Her five mothers, stepfather and multiple siblings. She is preceded in death by her father, grandparents and two older brothers. The Family would like to thank all the love and support. A night viewing will be held at Serenity Funeral Home 1316 S. 400 E.#A3 & #A5, St. George UT October 29, 2020 between 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Service will be October 30th, 2020 held at the Holm Legacy building 1065 N. Carling St. Hildale UT, at 1:00pm. Viewing will be held at 10:00am to 12:30pm. Interment will be at the Isaac Carling Memorial Park.
