Patty Eva Daniel

March 14, 1940 - June 14, 2022

On June 14, 2022, Patty Eva (Green) Daniel passed away peacefully in her home at age 82, after suffering a stroke. Patty was born in Rexburg, Idaho March 14, 1940, to Eva and Harold Green. On October 11, 1957, she was married to Kenneth Jaye Daniel, best known to all by Buzz, in the Idaho Falls Temple, Idaho. Pat and Buzz were married for nearly 65 years. She was the mother of Peggy Ellen, Kenneth West, Ronnie Jaye, Katrina Adell, and Justin Scott. She and Buzz raised their children with love and devotion in Burton, Idaho where they lived for 20 years. When the children all moved out, Pat and Buzz moved to Sugar City, Idaho, where they lived for 15 years. Pat's desire to get out of the Idaho cold weather led them to move south, and they moved to La Verkin, Utah where they have lived for the past 16 years. Patty was known for her kindness, love, patience, and her attention to detail. She was charitable to all she met. She loved serving in her assignments in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which gave her much pleasure in helping others. She particularly enjoyed serving in the Idaho Falls temple, and as a service missionary in Southern Utah. Patty’s hobbies included cooking, gardening, reading, games, listening to books on tape, and movies. She was most proud of her family which meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Daniel, her children, Peggy Daniel, Kenneth (Kristi) Daniel, Ronnie (Heidi) Daniel, Katrina (Trevor) Larson, and Justin (LaLaine) Daniel, and her 18 grandchildren Micah Tingen, K’Leena Furniss, Jacob Murphy, Heather Conger, Ryan Daniel, Nikisha Daniel, Bennett Daniel, James Daniel, Elizabeth Houghton, Eva Daniel, Tayla Mortensen, Hailey Hill, Tyrell Larson, Lee Larson, Max Larson, Chanse Daniel, Aysha Daniel, and Reagan Daniel, and 27 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are Patty’s parents Harold and Eve Green, sisters Doris Lusk, Wanda Mortensen, Myrtle Parker, and grandsons Mark Daniel and Dallon Hill. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, from 6:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 18 from 9:30-10:45, followed by a Funeral service on Saturday, June 18 at 11:00 AM. Both viewings and the funeral will be held at the La Verkin Stake Center located at 481 N. Main Street, La Verkin, Utah. A grave-side service will be held on Monday, June 20, at 11:00 AM at the Ashton Cemetery located at 3609 E. 1300 N., Ashton, Idaho where Patty will be interred.
