Peggy Jane (Prince) Miller

July 6, 1942 - April 22, 2021

Peggy Jane (Prince) Miller passed away peacefully from her mortal estate among family gathered around her on April 22, 2021 at her home in Toquerville, Utah. She was born July 6, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah as World War II raged. She was the oldest of 13 children born to Beth Ola Gubler and Douglas Fletcher Prince. She was raised in a loving family and being the eldest child, was much involved in the care of her younger siblings. She graduated from West High School (in SLC) and attended the University of Utah. She served as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southwest British Mission. Shortly after returning home, she was sealed to David Lee Miller in the Salt Lake City Temple. She devoted her efforts in raising their eight children, each of whom she welcomed to the family with great joy. She served in numerous callings in the Church in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary organizations. Additionally, as her youngest entered school, she did daycare for many children over a number of years. Later, she served as a family history specialist for about 18 months at the Hurricane Family History Library as well as Ward Family History Specialist. Over the past 5 years, she developed Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia which greatly diminished her memory over time. She was always appreciative of visits from family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Beth Prince and siblings, Gwen, Steven, Danny and Donald. She is survived by her husband, David Miller and her children and spouses: Stephen Lee (Coleen) Miller, Annette (Fernando) Morales, Julie Ann Valdivia, Kent David Miller, Kristen (Kevin) Bunker, Laura Jane Miller, Rozanne Michelle (Will) Thomas, and Kevin Douglas (Sarah) Miller, nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was truly a beautiful woman in every sense of the word. Her passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of her family but we rejoice knowing we will be reunited on the other side of the veil sans all our infirmities. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior to the service from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Toquerville LDS chapel. She will be interred in the Toquerville Utah Cemetery. Services will be streamed live via ZOOM https://zoom.us/j/93193609762?pwd=clE0ZUgzcGRPL2NsWGRGRWtNYVNPUT09 Meeting ID: 931 9360 9762 Passcode: 618532
