Troy Ray Stevens

Troy Ray Stevens, 53, of La Verkin passed from this life on Thursday February 10, 2022, at IHC in St. George, Utah. Troy was born on November 12, 1968, in St. George, Utah. He is the son of Wanda Joy and Kenneth H. Stevens. He met his wife, Laurie in Las Vegas. They were married in the St. George Temple for all time and eternity. Troy was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he graduated from Eldorado High School. He moved to Southern Utah where he welded, powder coated, fabricated, and installed rod iron and vinyl fencing. He also ran his own handyman company. He took a liking to painting, ceramics, wrestling and he played Pop Warner football for the Teamster Tigers. His interests were hunting, fishing, camping and he loved working on his ‘63 Impala. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served an honorable mission in Louisville, Kentucky. He is survived by wife Laurie, daughter Erika (Carson) Hofmeister and daughter Sabrina. His parents Wanda Joy and Kenneth, Two brothers, Tony (Karen) Stevens, Tracy (Rebecca) Stevens, sister Tammy Stevens. And many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Wanda Miller and Theron and Ossie Stevens. Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 16, 2022, at 11:00am located at the La Verkin Stake Center 481 N Main Street La Verkin, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Interment will be in the La Verkin City Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Troy's family. The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at IHC and Intermountain Hospice for their care and kindness.
