He has lived in many places but his favorite memories were of growing up on the Kenworthy Homestead on Mount Trumbel on the Arizona Strip. Although Bob had many skills, including carpenter, brick mason and mechanic, when asked his profession during the last few weeks of life, he answered “cowboy’. Bob was accomplished in many areas but is remembered most for his music. He played the piano, guitar, harmonica, accordion and most any brass instrument. Bob never became proficient at reading music because he was able to play virtually anything by ear. He played various instruments in dozens of dance bands during his lifetime. Bob loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ, was active in the LDS church since childhood and served three missions. He was a great harmonizer and sang in multiple choirs and quartets. His favorite musical pastime was making beautiful music with his family.
