Klea May Beatty

In Loving Memory It is with grateful hearts that we announce the graduation of Klea May Robinson Beatty, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, from this mortal world on July 1, 2025. Born on January 21, 1951, to David Delbert and Loine Robinson, Klea was raised in Murray until the age of 12 and then moved to Roosevelt, Utah, where she spent her time enjoying the outdoors, riding horses, participating in the high school drill team and, in her own words, "having the time of her life." Marriage and Life in Hurricane Klea was drawn to Southern Utah because of the palm trees, warmth, and Dixie College. She soon met and married Donald Lee Beatty on August 1, 1970, in the St. George Temple. Together they made their home in Hurricane, Utah, where she devoted herself to raising six children: Tony (Fawn), Leesa, Robin (Matthew Tenney), Wade (Sheri), Drew, and Amanda (Adam Larsen). No one left her side without a hug and memorable words of wisdom. Her greatest joy was spending time with her 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Throughout her life in Hurricane, Klea supported various community endeavors alongside her husband Lee, who was actively involved in local historical preservation projects. Their dedication to preserving the heritage and history of Southern Utah reflected their deep love for their community and its legacy. Faith Klea maintained strong religious convictions throughout her life. Her testimony of Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her relationships, actions, and strengthening her through her numerous trials. Klea's life was centered around family and maintaining strong bonds across generations. She cherished her role in teaching her children and ensuring that they would understand their faith and the sacrifices made, for each of them, by their Savior. Everyone who was lucky enough to know her will remember her abundant warmth and quiet, steadfast strength. Final Arrangements Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 7th, 2025, at the LDS Chapel, 155 East 1050 North in Hurricane.
