Lee M. Hass On Wednesday August 29, 2018, our Mom left us unexpectedly for the Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with her Momma, Daddy, furbabies and loved ones who crossed before her. Mom was born November 18, 1945 to Norma and James Malone in Long Beach CA. She grew up in Salt Lake City UT, where she met the love of her life Pete Hass when she was a teenager. Mom and Dad were married December 2, 1963, they had 3 children Tammi, Jeff and Bryan. Mom graduated from East High School in 1964. She retired from Alliance Credit Union after 17 years, she held many positions while she worked there. Mom enjoyed drawing, painting, woodcrafting, animals and sharing posts on Facebook. Mom had resided in Wendover UT, Denver CO, Ogden UT and Farr West, UT. When Dad retired they moved to The Villages, FL, she made many friends and enjoyed Sunday dinners with "the group". She loved watching the wildlife that she could view out her kitchen window on the golf course. She had a fondness for the Gecko's that made their home on her lanai. In April 2018 Mom and Dad moved to Ivins UT to be close to her family. This past July had she traveled to northern Utah and Oregon to meet and visit her great-granddaughter and 3 great-grandsons, her "babies". Mom is survived by Pete and her "babies" Tammi, Jeff and Jamie, Bryan and Clara, furbabies Timmy and Tobie. Grandbabies Ashlee (Terry), Jaden (Shalee), Mykell (Preston), Dakota (Maycee), Conner (serving an LDS Mission in Arizona), Josh (Dakota), Cass, Dinah and Brie. She had been blessed within the last 2 years with 4 great grandbabies, Maverick, Leland, Kaizen and Goldie. She is also survived by her brothers Robert (Michelle) and Pat. Mom had a special relationship with Pat's children Jacob and Nina. Mom was looking forward to Conner's homecoming and Mykell's wedding in September. Our family wishes to thank the EMT's, Officer Pondoyo and the ICU Staff at Dixie Regional Medical Center, your compassion was deeply appreciated . We honored Mom's wishes to be cremated which was done under the direction of the Cremation Center of Southern Utah. A celebration of her life for her close friends and family will be held on September 19th from 6-9 PM at The Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2025 E Antelop Dr., Layton, UT. A Tree of Life will be planted in her honor in the Southern Utah Dixie Forest.
