Lloyd D Peach

Saint George, UT – Lloyd D. Peach, age 86, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, in Saint George, Utah. He was born on August 11, 1939, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Wayne and Marjorie Peach. Lloyd married Laura Elaine Turner on September 7th, 1962, in Grand Junction, CO. Together, they raised four children-Sue, Kim, Tracy, and Rob. They built a wonderful life rooted in love, family, and shared adventures. Lloyd and his family were fortunate to live in a close-knit neighbourhood where lifelong friendships were formed. Their neighbourhood was filled with boating adventures, Lake Powell trips, ski outings, and campouts. Lloyd was always social and involved—whether it was cheering on the kids, planning the next adventure, or participating in ward and neighbourhood basketball and activities. To know Lloyd was to love him. Lloyd graduated from the University of Utah, earning his engineering degree, before spending 35 dedicated years working as an industrial engineer at Hill Air Force Base, a career for which he was immensely proud. Lloyd was fortunate to retire early but never stopped living life to the fullest. He continued pursuing the hobbies and passions he loved, making countless friends along the way. Lloyd was an extraordinary example of kindness and compassion—always seeing the glass as full, always encouraging others, and always living with gratitude, joy, and a contagious zest for life. Remarkably, he spent his final afternoon doing something he loved: playing pool with friends just hours before his passing. He is survived by his children: Kim (Peach) Grossenbach (Todd Grossenbach), Tracy Peach, Robert Peach (Shalece Williams Peach), Kellie Evans; his 14 grandchildren; one soon-to-be great-grandchild; his brother Leon Peach (Connie Peach); and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Marjorie Peach; his sister, Nancy McPeek; his wife, Laura Turner Peach; his daughter, Suzan Peach; and his beloved partner-in-crime, DeeDee Tolman. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the community at Temple View in Saint George. Lloyd found not only friendship there, but adventure, laughter, and a rare bond that deeply enriched his life. The selflessness of this community and their willingness to care for one another is something truly special. Lloyd was fortunate to call Temple View his home away from home, and it brought his family immense comfort knowing he was surrounded by love, friendship, and people who genuinely looked after him. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 22nd at 3:00 PM at Temple View in Saint George.
