Nancy Robinson Rowley

Nancy Robinson Rowley passed away on Sunday August 21, 2016 at the age of 66 in her home after battling cancer. She passed away in the presence of her eternal companion Wayne, and her children. Nancy and Wayne were sealed in the St. George temple on November 21st 1970. Nancy was cared for in her home by her family during her final days. Nancy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 18th 1950. She was the first of seven children born to Clair Dahl and Eleen Davenport Robinson. Nancy grew up in a loving family and they have remained close. Nancy was a loving wife and mother and was devoted to her family. Her children and grandchildren gathered at her home on Sunday afternoons. Nancy adored all her grandchildren and loved to have then around her. Nancy was very talented and used her talents to serve others. She quilted a baby blanket for every new baby born in Paragonah. Nancy loved making crafts and ceramics. Many people in the community own pieces she made. She loved the mountains and spending time at her cabin. Nancy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in the church in many capacities including: Relief Society President, Primary Teacher, Cub Scout Den Master, Young Women Beehive Teacher, Visiting Teacher & many others. Nancy lived in Paragonah for 36 years. She loved the people of Paragonah and as a child spent much of her time at her Grandma Idella Robinson’s home. Nancy served as a Justice of the Peace in Paragonah and was an active member of the DUP (Daughters of the Utah Pioneers). She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her children Teresa (Rod) Asher, Krisann (Nat) Adams, Robyn (Shaun) Orton, August (Jeremy) Franklin, Carri (Richie) Jeffries, Jennifer (Alex) Meisner; 22 grandchildren and 1 great grand-child. They are her legacy. She is also survived by: her mother Eleen Davenport Robinson; 3 brothers, Jerry (Sheri) Robinson, Larry (Kristen) Robinson, Thomas (Lucy) Robinson; and 2 sisters, Kathy (Gene) Adams, Sharon (Russell) Tullis. She is preceded in death by: her Father Clair Dahl Robinson; and her brother Doug D. Robinson. The Family would like to thank Brenda Mcintyre from Zions’ Way Home Health & Hospice and all those who have shown their love and support. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 25, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Paragonah Ward Chapel. Viewings will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6-8pm and again on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30am prior to services, in the Paragonah Ward Chapel. Interment will be held at the Paragonah Cemetery.
