Sallie Anne Bos

Sallie Ann Bos, Wife, Mother and Friend who passed away on March 2nd, 2024, at Southgate Senior Memory care in St. George, Utah. Sallie was born on August 30, 1942 in Woodbury, New Jersey to Robert and Ruth King, Sallie married Paul Bos, in Cathedral City, California on December 4, 1987. Sallie was born and raised in New Jersey until moving to Spring Mount, PA around the age of four. Sallie enjoyed her years at Schwenksville High School, making lasting friendships and being involved in numerous clubs and organizations including being selected Prom Queen, Homecoming Queen and May Queen. Sallie found the love of sewing and went on to achieve awards. At home Sallie could be found sewing, embroidering, and reading. She also enjoyed getting and collecting post cards from anyone that traveled. In the summers, Sallie enjoyed visiting her family and friends in New Jersey. As a teenager Sallie worked at the Spring Mountain House, and as an adult she went to work at the Harleysville Insurance Co. and then Computer Peripherals Inc. Sallie lived and raised her three children; Jeff, Michael and Toni in Schwenksville, PA before moving to California. In 1975 Sallie went to work for Buck Knives Inc. In El Cajon, California where she became a part of the Buck family. Sallie worked in packing and shipping for several years before moving into the inspection department. Sallie and Paul met and married in 1987 both working for Buck Knives. In 2003 Buck Knives moved to Post Fall, Idaho and they asked them if they wanted to go with them. They agreed. After 30 years with Buck, Sallie retired in 2005. Paul retired in 2010. After retiring they moved to Prescott, Arizona where they stayed until they moved to St. George, Utah in 2023. Sallie is survived by her husband, Paul Bos, son Jeffery Scott Davis, (wife Lynda) of Campo, California, Son Michael Sean Davis ( wife Patricia) of Henderson, Nevada, Daughter, Toni Lynn Davis (wife Maria Akerman) of Longmont, Colorado, Daughter Bonnie Jeanne Fordham, (husband Issac) of St. George, Utah. Sallie had 12 Grand Children and 9 Great Grand Children. Sallie had 3 sisters; Judith Rodgers of Woodbury, New Jersey; Phala Lee Bodner of Southampton, New Jersey, and Lynda Ruth Cordovano of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. As well as brother, Robert Fredrick King of Williamsburg, Virginia. Sallie was preceded in death by her father, Robert king, Mother, Ruth King, Daughter, Jenifer Corrinne Marston, and Grandson Jeffery Davis. The family would like to thank Alliance Hospice, Hospice Nurse, Hailee Pulufana, Nina Heck the director of Southgate Senior Care, Dr. Trenton Overall, APRN Scott Foster/ Alex Fotheringham family advisor at Southgate Senior Care. Also, Suesan, Bryce and all the other girls that took care of Sallie. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Saturday April 27, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1316 South 400 East #A5, St. George, Utah 84790
