Sidney Cheri Woolsey

Sidney Cheri Woolsey was born on October 29, 1966. She reunited with her eternal family on March 26, 2025 from her home in Hurricane, Utah. She had her husband, Ross Robert Woolsey, and son Austin Franklin Woolsey with her. Sidney was born in Richfield, Utah. Daughter of Warren Larsen Williams and Doneal Davis. She was their first born. Mom thought she was a beautiful baby, and they were so proud of her. They moved to Salt Lake for better work and to start their life. She then became an older sister to Rachel T. Kilgrow and Wyatt Warren Williams. Sidney graduated from South High School in 1985. She then tried her hand at being a nanny in Pennsylvania. The lady did not like how she boiled eggs, so she came home. Shortly after, Dad moved Sidney to Salina, Utah to live with her uncle Clyde to help with his three kids. While living there, Sidney met her husband, Ross Robert Woolsey. Sidney and Ross were married on August 5, 1989, in Salt Lake City. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple on August 13, 2005 and are the proud parents of Dakota Ross Woolsey and Austin Franklin Woolsey. Dakota gave Sidney four grandchildren, Piper, Brendan, Cooper and Layklen. She was also blessed with a daughter, Tyler. Sidney loved her family. She was not only their mother, but their good friend. She enjoyed having all of her family around and stood by them through a lot of trials. She loved the outdoors, drives through the mountains, camping and anything to do with her family. Sidney worked at Walmart for 17 years. She is a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She also worked for the church family history department. She could list dates for all things related to family history. She is survived by her husband Ross Robert Woolsey, Dakota (Tyler) Woolsey, Austin Franklin Woolsey, Mom Doneal Davis Williams, Sister Rachel (Kelly) Kilgrow, Wyatt (Natalie) Williams, four grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank Zion’s Way Hospice for their care in her final days. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hurricane LDS Chapel located at 320 North 3400 West, Hurricane, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the same location. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery.
