Tom B. Roy Sr "Wampa" Obituary (1936

Wampa was born in Prescott Arizona Nov. 15, 1936, to Jesse & Clara Roy, and passed away in St. George Utah at the age of 85, with his family by his side on Jan. 14, 2022. Wampa was raised in Prescott and eventually moved to Kingman where he retired from Arizona Dept. Of Transportation, and finally ending up in Utah in 1990 where he worked for Walmart and Cal Ranch and met so many new friends and acquaintances. Up until last spring, Wampa could be seen driving the streets of Parowan, checking in on everyone and their dog (literally), if you were outside while he was on his drive that day you got the pleasure of a short visit with him. He loved the Parowan Café and All-American Diner, although we are not sure what he liked best, the food or harassing the waitresses. Wampa leaves behind his children Tom (Vava), Tina (Kerry), Toni (Chad), Tim (Shelly), Jesse (Donna), Juanita (Clay), and his son in law Kurt, 17 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way. He was proceeded in death by his parents, 3 brothers James, Al, and George, and 2 daughters Katherine and Tammie The family would like to thank everyone who was always so kind and caring towards Wampa. A Celebration of Life for close family will be held at a later date
