Bill Worked for the post office for 30 years. He was a mail carrier and moved up where he became the Manager of Consumer Affairs. He loved all those he worked with over the years there. When He retired, he chose to get a CDL and become a bus driver. He thoroughly enjoyed the job of taking passengers all over the place. He worked for commercial bus lines and schools where he took school groups on activities. He always had a basket of candy to share and numerous stories while they were traveling. He took a group of senior citizens once and asked if anyone needed a bathroom break. One lady said they called it “fluffing their pillows”. That term took and used it with all his future trips. He also had the opportunity to drive for the 2002 Winter Olympics, which he absolutely loved. He loved being in the middle of any event. Bill followed in his father footsteps and became an announcer at the July 24th, pioneer parade. He and his family slept over the night before the parade where they set up BBQs and treats. At the end of the parade, he would getup on the announcing van and ride through the route thanking everyone for coming. Bills parents loved being part of the Hopis friends.
