Kerry was born and raised in LaVerkin. He married Patricia Barrick, who is from Hurricane, and together they have eight children. Kerry had a successful career in the insurance business and has served twice as the Mayor of LaVerkin. As a Funeral and Pre-planning Consultant, Kerry enjoys helping people with their needs in the funeral business.

Kerry has been actively engaged in church service his entire life and greatly enjoyed serving twice as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kerry has served as a bishop and understands the pain and difficulty experienced by those dealing with the loss of a loved one.
